Diget3 — Your Personal AI Chat Companion
Diget3 is a fully offline AI chat app that runs entirely on your computer. No internet required, no accounts, no data leaving your machine. Just you and your AI companion.
Chat with AI, your way. Pick a name for your AI, give it a personality through a custom system prompt, and fine-tune how it thinks with simple sliders for creativity, thought depth, and word variety. Choose from a curated list of language models or import your own custom models built with Adapter Factory.
A built-in text editor that works with your AI. Open the TextPad editor and type "write me a poem about the ocean" in chat — the AI writes directly into your document in real time. Format your text with fonts, colors, bold, italic, emoji, bullet lists, and numbered lists. Save your work as plain text, a printable HTML page, or a full project file that preserves all your formatting.
A built-in image editor that works with your AI. Image Studio is a draw and image preparation tool, designed to work hand-in-hand with image generation. It gives users a full-featured drawing canvas where they can import, sketch, paint, or modify images before sending them to the AI for img2img generation. Works with a tablet or monitor but Windows ink needs to be off. Or use your favorite art studio and import. I am working on Krita integration to ease the process.
A built-in video generator that works with your AI. Image Studio is a draw, image, and video, preparation tool, designed to work hand-in-hand with image/video generation, img2vid, and txt to video. It gives users a full-featured drawing canvas where they can import, sketch, paint, or modify images before sending them to the AI for img2img generation. The video generation is a nice addition. SD models to be your camera man, and wan txt2video to get a video started. With the lens viewer in play, there is a vid 2 vid still in beta and actively being worked on. Tutorials coming for how to use it. More additions coming later to this version.
Helpful voice commands in chat:
"write me [anything]" — AI writes directly into TextPad
"new document" — clears the editor for a fresh start
"save my progress" — quick-saves your current work
“draw me [something]” — AI will open a image generator and generate a image from your description.
Runs on modest hardware. Diget3 runs on your CPU with as little as 8 cores and 32GB of RAM. 12 GB of VRAM required for Image generation. Video generation requires 24 GB of VRAM or better. A system monitor keeps you informed on CPU and memory usage. Battery monitoring is available on laptops where Windows exposes battery data.
You own everything. Your conversations, your documents, your data — all stored locally on your machine.
Diget3: Minimum Requirements - Windows 11, 8 core CPU processor, 32 GB RAM, 12GB VRAM Nvidia GPU required for image gen 24 GB VRAM or better for video, and at least 22GB of memory disk space.
